We tidy and sweep down, leaving the area clean and the hedge looking smart.

Routine trims and big reductions

Whether you want a hedge kept sharp through the season or a towering Leylandii brought back down to size, we handle both โ€” and we’ll be straight with you about what’s achievable.

  • Regular maintenance trims to keep shape and density
  • Height and width reductions on overgrown hedges
  • Conifers can be reduced, though they won’t re-shoot from bare brown wood โ€” we’ll advise how far is safe
  • One-off visits or a scheduled maintenance plan to suit you

Good to Know

Hedge questions, answered

Most formal hedges look best with one or two trims a year; fast-growing conifers may need more. We can do it as a one-off or set up regular visits so it never gets out of hand.

Yes, we can reduce height and width. One thing to know: most conifers won’t regrow from bare brown wood, so we can’t cut back below the green growth and expect it to fill in โ€” we’ll advise on how far we can safely take it.

It’s an offence to disturb active nests, so we always check before cutting. The main nesting season runs roughly March to August, and we’ll work around it where needed.

Yes โ€” all cuttings are collected and removed as a licensed waste carrier, and we tidy the area before we leave.
